Hand painted cushion in satin silk, cushion insert is not included. This cushion is from a collection inspired by the colors of the Northern Lights. Paints more like this, but each pillow is unique. Each pillow is painted with brush on white silk, with reactive colors. The silk is then steam-fixed so that the colors draw into the fibers and become permanent. The cushion thus can withstand a lot of sun and wash, and it does not fade after many years of use. But as with all art, it should not stand in direct sun. All cushions are unique and signed. Silk gives you a feeling of luxury and can be machine washed or by hand.
