Hand-painted scarf in Pongé silk. This scarf is from a collection inspired by the Northern Lights. I paint several of these, but all are different and unique. Each single scarf is painted with brush on white silk, with reactive colors. The motif is then screen-printed by hand. The silk is then steam-fixed so that the colors draw into the fibers and become permanent. The scarf thus withstands a lot of sun and wash, and it does not fade after many years of use. All of the scarves are unique and signed.
Silk gives you a feeling of luxury and it can be washed by machine or by hand.
The colors may vary slightly from monitor to monitor.
